New YouTube Channel Launches

With little fanfare, I have launched the new Fit and Legal YouTube channel focused on health and fitness.

The reason there is so little buzz and promotion around this channel launch is because it is not doing anything different from what I have been providing for the Fitness Friday videos. You may have seen Fitness Friday videos on YouTube, my personal Facebook page, the Law Office Facebook page, the Plain English Attorney Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, the LinkedIn Law Office page, or my personal LinkedIn page. Out of all of those platforms, only YouTube will "ding" different content when it runs its algorithms to determine who sees it. And, boy, does it ever ding not only those videos but the entire channel.

That is really the only reason why we have the new channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfAs2FwmGwLr6B8P7ouOUWQ where I will specifically post the same Fitness Friday videos. (Once we hit 100 subscribers, we can change the channel name to something easier to remember, so please help us out by subscribing.) If this channel really takes off, we might add some interviews or breakdowns of legal issues that cross into the fitness world, but for now it is just a better YouTube place to put those videos.

If you were seeing the Fitness Friday videos on other social media outlets, this will be unchanged. It's just that if you were following a YouTube link to the video, it will now be at the new Fit and Legal channel instead of the usual site for The Plain English Attorney.
